My Story
I have been working as a sign language interpreter since 2014 having completed my NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting Development Course, Deaf Perspective, Glasgow. Following which I achieved my Level 6 Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting Studies, at Bruce and Delfosse Interpreter Training, UK in 2017.
In addition to working regularly across Northern Ireland and the UK as a sign language interpreter I am a Director for Visual Language Professionals (VLP). My director remit is trainee membership, my ambition is to improve the individual experience of VLP trainee members as they transition to a fully qualified language service professionals.
